…appreciate the historical background of research ethics and its development
…identify topics that belong to research ethics and research integrity
…identify some typical and less well-known types of misconduct in research

Content:

This lecture will focus on some historical roots of research ethics and its development.
The basic terminology of research ethics and integrity will be introduced.
Cases and examples will be used. Experiences and questions of participants will be tied in.
