TU Wien strives to provide you with high-quality academic education. The student course assessment is one of the tools that helps to accomplish this goal.
Participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous. The Quality Assurance team uses the data collected to carry out statistical evaluations of the respective teaching sessions and to generate internal departmental reports from teaching staff and students.
Each completed question provides valuable feedback for course leaders, and makes a significant contribution to ensuring the quality of teaching at TU Wien.
The current course assessment does not cover any aspects of examination. This evaluation is carried out in a separate assessment and will be implemented in the near future.
There are two versions of the course assessment – a short one and a long one.
The short version comprises six questions about the course. Once you have answered these in full, you have the option of submitting them as they are or proceeding to the longer, more detailed version.
In the long version, you can also skip questions and/or comment on individual questions.
You can view the design of the new questionnaire here.
The start and end of the new course assessment varies depending on the course. To find out when exactly a course assessment starts for a particular course, you can ask the course management or send an enquiry to email@example.com.
Unless the assessment phase has been altered by course management, it usually begins 14 days before the last regular teaching session and ends 14 days after that. The evaluation phase takes four weeks in total.
If the course design makes it possible, you will be given time to complete the new questionnaire during your teaching sessions.
You will be notified in writing as soon as the results are available.
There will be a session in which the results and any subsequent measures will be presented.
Teaching staff have access to the course evaluation settings for their course in the course administration. You can also download the individual QR code there.
Students can access the evaluation via their course favourites or using the QR code.
