Four days of exchange on RDM topics

End of October, RDM experts from around the world met at the International Data Week in Salzburg. Of course, we couldn't miss out.

For the fourth time, the International Science Council's Committee on Data (CODATA), the World Data System (WDS) and the Research Data Alliance (RDA) have joined forces to organise the International Data Week (IDW). Under the motto "A Festival of Data", researchers, data stewards, and others interested in RDM met from 23 to 26 October 2023 in numerous working group meetings and plenary sessions at the Salzburg Congress and online. The conference was hosted by the Paris Lodron University Salzburg through its interdisciplinary Data Science group and the Geoinformatics department and partners.

TU Wien provided information on current topics as part of the poster exhibition and was involved in various sessions. Tomasz Miksa, for example, co-chaired an open session of the Active DMPs Interest Group, and Sabine Neff chaired the session Towards Shared Research Infrastructure in Austria, opens an external URL in a new window, in which the projects of the Cluster Forschungsdaten, opens an external URL in a new window were presented and discussed.
