The Best Paper Award of the Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation is awarded every year by the Faculty Council. The awardees an their awarded papers for the field of Geodesy and Geoinformation for 2022 are:

Mikolka-Flöry et al., Automatic orientation of historical terrestrial images in mountainous terrain using the visible horizon
Steiner et al., Quantitative water content estimation in landfills through joint inversion of seismic refraction and electrical resistivity data considering surface conduction
