Conor OSBORNE recently completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Dr. Aretha Teckentrup. His doctoral research focused on uncertainty quantification, particularly at the intersection of numerical analysis, Bayesian inference and approximation theory. In his thesis, he studied the analysis of Gaussian processes with a special interest in deep Gaussian processes.

As a postdoctoral researcher, he will work with Prof. Michael FEISCHL on analytical and computational problems related to Gaussian processes, neural networks, and PDEs.
