On September 30th, 2021 the big SAVT barbecue of the Association of Students and Graduates of Process Engineering took place at the Vienna University of Technology. At this event, which usually takes place every year, active students and graduates meet in the Geniehof at the Getreidemarkt campus. This year, the SAVT barbecue, organized by Alexander Bartik, also provided a platform for the CO2Refinery and Michael Harasek introduced the doctoral college to interested sponsoring partners. Afterwards Alexander Bartik, Florian Müller and Ivo van den Hurk were able to explain their equipment for experimental implementation in the technical center Getreidemarkt and answered the questions of the enthusiastic audience.

In the current issue 135, opens an external URL in a new window of “Der Reaktor” is an article about the development of the CO2Refinery and a description of Ivo van den Hurk. New members of the process engineering association introduce themselves in the magazine. There are also reports about events and exciting insights into research work in process engineering at the Vienna University of Technology.
