Julia Dorner | Preparations for the Austrian Socio-Economic Panel (ASEP)

Together with other Austrian housing researchers, Julia Dorner was involved as an expert of the AG-Wohnen in ensuring that the most important and current fields of housing research were covered in the questionnaire.

Statistics Austria, opens an external URL in a new window and the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS, opens an external URL in a new window) are currently preparing the Austrian Socio-Economic Panel (ASEP, opens an external URL in a new window), a long-running Austrian household panel. Designed as a combined register and survey, intensive work has been done on the questionnaire for the first pilot wave in recent months.

The coordination team and the scientific advisory board were supported by various thematic working groups. Together with other Austrian housing researchers, Julia Dorner was involved as an expert [member] of the WG-Wohnen in ensuring that the most important and current research fields of housing research are covered in the questionnaire. We are glad that we could contribute our expertise in housing research to this project and are excited about the research opportunities that this new dataset will bring in the future!
