New team member at SRF: Alexandra Pintilie

Alexandra Pintilie studied Urban and Regional Planning at the Vienna University of Technology. In January 2022, she completed her Master's degree with a thesis on the importance of secondary cities for polycentric development in Central Europe. In her professional career, she has worked intensively on sustainable urban development, transnational cooperation and economic development. Her current interest lies particularly in the research of spatial and socio-economic structures, processes and developments.

Alexandra Pintilie has been working as a pre-doc at the SRF since 1 February. In the coming years she will support us in teaching as well as in research and project activities.
