The climate crisis affects us all - but how can a climate-friendly life be achieved for all?

Numerous scientific reports have long confirmed the need for comprehensive action to achieve the climate goals. This affects all areas of life: from work and care to housing, mobility, food and leisure. But how can such a transformation be realised?

The report underlines that the possibilities to live in a climate-friendly way are essentially determined by structures. The prevailing appeals to responsible individual behaviour and calls for sustainable consumption are overestimated in their effects. Accordingly, the core message of the report is to place the joint design of structures for climate-friendly living at the centre of climate policy.
