Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, e-cars and mountain bikes can all be rented in Baden via the ÖBB's Wegfinder app. The pioneering municipality also received the VCÖ Mobility Award for this in 2023. On 5 June 2025, as part of our MOVE.Walks excursion and discussion event, we visited the site and gained insight into the planning, operation and further development of the ‘mobility package’. We also had the opportunity to familiarise ourselves with a special department of ÖBB.

Together, we discussed how to focus on different target groups, how to create visibility for the offers, and why finding the right locations requires a balance of data analysis and a sure instinct. Thank you very much!
