Call for diploma theses on the pilot project Cool Streets Vienna:
A lot of data was gathered during the three-month implementation period of the Cool Streets (CS) in Vienna. In cooperation with the Mobility Agency, we would like to supervise diploma theses that try to answer compelling questions about public space and temporary designs based on collected experiences from and feedback on the pilot project,
e.g. how were the CS perceived and were they well used? What characteristics are required for a widely used and accepted CS or other temporary redesigns? What impulses, framework conditions, incentives, (participation) processes, etc. are needed for this?
