Following its successful launch in Vienna last year, the second edition of the City Dialogue once again provided a platform for in-depth discussions between city administration representatives, development companies, and mobility researchers.
This time, the focus was on parking space management. How can neighbourhood garages be optimally planned, operated, and integrated with new mobility services? What role will public spaces play in the future with regard to stopping and parking? And how can parking regulations be developed further to encourage low-car neighbourhoods? These and other questions were addressed in practical workshops and discussion rounds.
Alongside exciting specialist presentations, the programme included tours of Bahnstadt and Patrick Henry Village, where innovative approaches to sustainable urban development could be seen first-hand.
