From September 7-9, 2023, the 12th International Symposium of the EALD, opens an external URL in a new window, was held at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, opens an external URL in a new window in Bergen, Norway. The EALD is an interdisciplinary association of scientists working at universities and independent research institutes from all over Europe whose research focuses on sustainable soil management. This year's symposium, already in its 12th year, was entitled Land use and planning for demographic and technological change.
From TU Vienna, Barbara Steinbrunner, opens an external URL in a new window (FOB Soil) and Dominic Wagner, opens an external URL in a new window (FOB Law) were represented. During the symposium, Barbara Steinbrunner presented her dissertation on the topic of land policy and building land rezoning.
