Software update on our firewall systems

Dear colleagues and students,

We would like to inform you that we will be performing a software update on our firewall systems on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. During the update, there will unfortunately be a brief interruption in data traffic lasting approximately 30 to 60 seconds. Please avoid critical tasks during this time and apologize for any inconvenience.

Our team has taken all necessary measures to keep the maintenance window as short as possible and minimize the impact on network functionality. We will monitor the update process continuously to ensure that all services are quickly available and stable. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any questions or encounter any problems after the update, please contact us immediately at noc@tuwien.ac.at.
