The aim of the workshop "Three Days in Calculus of Variations" was to promote and foster new connections and scientific cooperations between young researchers in Calculus of Variations, as well as world-renown international experts. The workshop featured a total of 13 invited international speakers, with topics ranging from periodic and stochastic homogenization, to the derivation of effective models for media with microstructures, the characterization of medium and large-range effects, and the mathematical description of failure phenomena, such as elastoplasticity, damage, and fracture. This event was supported by TU Wien, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), the Vienna Center for Partial Differential Equations, as well as by the Austrian Research Association (ÖFG).
