Have you ever presented your research in a place as unconventional as a pub? “Sure!” Heidi SCHAAR and Helmut Rechberger will answer. During this years Pint of Science Austria festival, Heidi Schaar explained to the general audience that we are all “Flushing for Future” and tried to answer the question of whether or not wastewater treatment plants are still contributing to a better future, while Helmut Rechberger asked, “Are we running out of raw materials?” and showed how science can help us use them more efficiently, making us more independent.
