ÖKO-Studienmesse: Spatial planning and development

On 26.03.2025 the "ÖKO-Studienmesse": “Studying economics differently” took place. Tatjana Neuhuber from the Research Department of Finance and Infrastructure Policy (IFIP) gave a wonderful presentation on spatial planning and development for students in grades 11-13.

The ÖKO-Studienmesse “Wirtschaft anders studieren” offers unique insights into innovative fields of study that go beyond conventional business studies. They show how important economics is for good coexistence and a functioning ecosystem. And they deal with burning questions of the present:

How are economics and current upheavals such as climate change, digital transformations and geopolitical changes connected?

How can the economy be shaped towards sustainability, social justice and future viability?

Innovative fields of study from various universities will be presented during a panel discussion. Afterwards, further information (curriculum, registration, etc.) can be obtained at a poster exhibition and questions can be asked directly to representatives of the various universities.
