In a dedicated 'Insight' issue, the journal Nature Physics celebrates and reviews recent progress in the generation and study of cold and ultracold molecules and ions for applications in quantum simulation, metrology and chemistry. 

Together with colleagues from JILA, Fritz-Haber Institute Berlin and CUHK, we have contributed an article on the recent, striking advances in the manipulation and quantum science of ultracold molecules.
