On 9th May 2025, MOVE welcomed a high-ranking delegation from Turkey to Seestadt Aspern. The visit was part of the POLIS/SUMP TÜRKIYE Study Visit, in which around 10–12 representatives from various institutions took part, including the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (UMT), İLBANK, and a representative from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department of European Union Transport Sector.

The visit was organised by POLIS, a network of European cities and regions dedicated to finding innovative transport solutions. The study trip to Vienna formed part of the EU-funded SUMP TÜRKIYE project, which promotes sustainable urban mobility planning in Turkey. The focus was on ‘collective passenger transport’, ‘behavioural change and mobility management’, and EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK.

As part of the programme, the delegation visited Wiener Linien and the Supergrätzl, as well as meeting various representatives of the City of Vienna. During a walk through Seestadt Aspern, Magdalena Bürbaumer (MOVE) presented various local initiatives and projects, including neighbourhood garages, the greening of public spaces, mobility surveys, mobility labs, and supported innovation projects such as Multimofusion and mobility consulting services.

This exchange provided a valuable opportunity to experience successful Viennese mobility approaches in real urban spaces, as well as further intensifying international cooperation in the field of sustainable urban mobility.
