The Graduate School of Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT) will be accepting applications for the “International Graduate Program for Interdisciplinary Study in Science and Technology (IGP)” according to the following schedule.
End of November 2024: Application guidelines published (scheduled, may be brought forward) Beginning of December until 20 December(Fri).
The following three categories will be available through IGP:
- A. Combined FOUR-year Master’s/Doctoral Course
- B. TWO-year Master’s Course
- C.THREE-year Doctoral Course
IGP provides international students with an opportunity to undertake interdisciplinary study in science and technology in all majors offered by KIT, with instructions and lectures given, in principle, in English. Students applying for the following IGP sub-programs (EFM/SDI, currently pending approval) will have the opportunity to apply for KIT's own scholarship system in addition to the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship.
・Human Resource Development Program for the Eco-Friendly Materials Manufacturing Sector (EFM)
・TECH LEADER Development Program for Semiconductor Device Manufacturing Leading to Disruptive Innovation (SDI)
Students who are interested in applying should consult with JASEC even before the application period begins, and contact their prospective supervisor at KIT to discuss their research plans.
