Excursion water resources management 2025

Another fully booked and successful water resource management excursion!
Thirty-five students, accompanied by the excursion leaders Matthias Zessner and Julia Derx, showed high motivation by joining the two-day trip on Friday and Saturday, and were rewarded with a very varied programme:

Fish migration aid at the Altenwörth hydropower station (thank you to the guides Hannes Einfalt and Roland Schmalfuß from VERBUND)
The unique wastewater treatment plant of Hintestoder located within a mountain cave (thank you to the guide Werner Hackel)
The karstic spring for the Viennese drinking water supply and the museus in Wildalpen (thank you to the guide Christian Maslo)

Another special thanks goes to Wiener Wasser MA 31 for inviting the whole group to lunch.
