We organized a mini-symposium “Fundamental and practical insights into characterizing, measuring, and mitigating shrinkage and creep in cementitious materials” with high quality talks and rich of many exchanges with attendees.

Three of us gave their contribution with very interesting talks:

Dr. Dana Daneshvar: “Characterization of time-dependent restrained shrinkage in thin ultra-high performance concrete overlays” .

PhD. Muhammad Shahid:  “Early-age elastic and creep properties of graphene oxide cement paste determined by three-minute-long creep tests”.

Univ. Prof. Agathe Robisson (Plenary lecture):   “Development of microstructural heterogeneities in cementitious slurries and mortars at rest and under flow: a hypothesis for pumping blockage and material defects”
