Christian Pichler gets awarded the Best Talk Award at the International Conference on Sustainable Chemistry for Net Zero in St. Andrews. His talk was entitled: "Tailoring solid/liquid interface structures to improve electrocatalytic CO2 reduction and waste conversion"

Christian Pichler, group leader of the “Electrified Interfaces” group (E134-02) to be established soon at IAP, was awarded the Best Talk Award for the best oral contribution at the “International Conference on Sustainable Chemistry for Net Zero”, opens an external URL in a new window taking place in St. Andrews from 10.-13. June.

The prize was awarded for his talk on “Tailoring solid/liquid interface structures to improve electrocatalytic CO2 reduction and waste conversion”.

In this talk it was outlined how fundamental understanding of electrochemical double layers and surface physical phenomena can lead to a significant improvement of various sustainable catalytic processes.
