Waste Management Conference of the Austrian Water and Waste Management Association (ÖWAV)

From April 9 to 11, the Waste Management Conference of the Austrian Water and Waste Management Association (ÖWAV) took place in Graz. Our research unit was proudly represented by two of our young scientists: Betül Gök presented a poster on optimizing waste management in public spaces, while Sara Neuburg showcased her work on applying the adapted balancing method to refuse-derived fuels from Uganda.

The conference featured engaging presentations on circular economy, PFAS, microplastics, and many other current challenges in the field of waste management.
