On 4 September Vanessa Parravicini was invited to present our team's research on N₂O bioscrubbing at wastewater treatment plants within the International Water Association Climate Smart Utilities Initiative, GHG Sub-Group.
The presentation summarised the outcomes of the ReLAKAN project: “Reduction of Direct Nitrous Oxide Emissions at Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants through Biological Off-Gas Treatment in the Sidestream”, funded by the Bundesministerium für Land- & Forstwirtschaft, Klima- & Umweltschutz, Regionen & Wasserwirtschaft (see https://lnkd.in/dCTJkWMq, öffnet eine externe URL).
The presentation attracted strong interest, with 55 participants from utilities, research institutions, and consultancy firms attending the call.
