As part of the Vienna Design Week 2025, the research unit Three-Dimensional Design and Model Making and TU Wien Academic Press present the exhibition “Kunst zum Anfassen” (Art You Can Touch) in the Davis Data Visualisation Space.

The research unit Three-Dimensional Design and Model Making of the Institute of Art and Design and TU Wien Academic Press present an exhibition of student work from four years of art projects. The presentation shows the diversity of topics within the master programme Architecture and makes visible the concept of research-led teaching in the arts. The recently published book “Zwischen Henkel und Schnabel/Between handle and spout, opens an external URL in a new window” documents a course held in cooperation with the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl–Salzkammergut.

This event will be of interest to anyone interested in art, to students, teachers, and everyone interested in experimental design approaches, as well as book lovers.

Opening days and hours during the festival:

01-05 October 2025: Monday to Friday 08:00–22:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00-19:00.

Exhibition opening and book presentation:

30 September 2025, 16:00-19:00.
