Ongoing survey on parking and public space

Imagine you had the chance to shape public spaces and parking by using revenue from parking fees in your neighbourhood – how would you use it?

As part of the research project ‘MBD15 – Mobility Benefit Districts for 15-minute cities’, surveys are currently being conducted.

The focus is on the opinions of local residents.

How are the various measures designed to create attractive neighbourhoods and better mobility options in public spaces being evaluated?
How should revenue from parking fees be allocated locally?

Households in Vienna's 6th and 14th districts (the living lab neighbourhoods of the research project) are selected at random to participate in the survey. These households receive an invitation to participate in the survey by post. Participation is voluntary and responses can be submitted online or by post until 15 December 2025.
