As part of their stay in Japan, the JASEC team and Peter Ertel, Vice-Rector for Science and Research at TU Wien, took the opportunity to meet with Japanese students who have studied at TU Wien in the past. Current TU Wien students who are currently studying abroad in Japan were also part of the meeting.

The informal exchange provided a valuable opportunity to share personal experiences, discuss current developments and maintain and deepen existing contacts between TU Wien and its international students. 

For the JASEC team, it was particularly pleasing to see how lasting the connection to TU Wien has remained for many former exchange students.
