Basic training in university didactics

Target group:

• New teaching staff, except for lecturers (Lehrbeauftragte), ideally before the start of teaching, by the end of the 12th month after start of employment at the latest
• Those interested in the Certified Practitioner of XY programme (completion of the basic training is considered a prerequisite for participation in the programme) 

Learning outcomes: 
After completion of the course, participants can...

• plan their course based on Constructive Alignment.
• design their own course concept according to didactic principles.
• formulate learning outcomes.
• select types of performance assessment appropriate to the course concept.
• develop competence-oriented examination tasks.
• name quality characteristics of academic teaching.
• apply different methods of university didactics in teaching.
• critically reflect on their role as a university teacher for sustainable learning processes.

• Please register only for one of the basic trainings offered as these are alternative courses.
