Two TUW ACE graduates among the best of the year

On September 23, 2021, the Caesar 2021 Real Estate Award was presented and celebrated special achievements in the real estate industry.

This is already the fifteenth time that the most successful personalities in the Austrian real estate industry have been honored. This year, a total of eight Caesars were presented at the gala and we are pleased that two of our alumni were honored for their outstanding achievements:

Ms. Helga Brun as best real estate manager and Ms. Astrid Grantner MSc MRICS as best real estate service provider.

After her graduation from the program “Technology and Law in Real Estate Management" at TU Wien, Ms. Brun took over the family firm. The expansion of the firm Brun Immobilien, opens an external URL in a new window was followed by the takeover of the company KREFINA Immobilien. In addition to managing her two firms, Ms. Brun is also active as examiner for trade examinations.

For the next ten years, Ms. Brun has set herself the goal of optimizing her "...administrative building stock structurally and economically, implementing further building projects with sustainable energy and creating affordable housing."

Astrid Grantner MSc MRICS has been responsible for real estate valuation in the EHL Group for more than five years and has been Managing Director since the independent company was founded in 2017. She has been extremely successful in building up a team of 13 experts, thus making EHL Immobilien Bewertung GmbH (https://www.ehl.at/bewertung, opens an external URL in a new window) the leading independent valuation company in Austria. Ms. Grantner studied Real Estate Investment and Valuation at TU Wien, is a member of RICS and a sworn and court-certified expert. Furthermore, Ms. Grantner is a member of the board of the graduate association ImmoABS and a member of Salon Real. In addition to her professional activities, Ms. Grantner is a lecturer at the ACE of TU Wien.

As for her goals for the next few years, Ms. Grantner says: "I have to admit that I am not one of those people who set specific long-term goals. It is important to me to drive the development of EHL Immobilien Bewertung GmbH forward every day together with my great team. From my daily work as a real estate service manager, I see the entire personnel area as one of the most important topics. And this is indeed not a future topic, but requires full attention right now. In addition, the topic of ESG will, of course, significantly determine the next few years for all those working in the industry."
