Rethinking project management: between method, trend and responsibility

Are you already working in project management and would like to expand your expertise in a strategic and targeted manner? This course offers you the opportunity to combine your experience with current developments and to design your projects strategically, flexibly and sustainably. Thanks to the training at TU Wien, you will immerse yourself in topics that make the difference today - and will be decisive tomorrow.

Three days - three opportunities to take your projects to a new level

Discover how modern project management works - practical, reflective and future-oriented. In this course, you will learn how to make targeted decisions between predictive, adaptive and hybrid process models and how to manage your projects flexibly and efficiently. You will learn how artificial intelligence - using tools such as ChatGPT, PMI Infinity or Claude - can support your project processes, from initiation to closing. At the same time, you will develop a deep understanding of sustainable project management that focuses not only on results, but also on the process and strategic impact of your projects in the context of your company. Using methods such as Sustainable Impact Analysis (WISE model), you will reflect on your project practice.

Didactics: Application and implementation-oriented teaching content & management reflection of the content. Lecture/theoretical input, case studies, discussions, project/group work, presentations, short/impulse speeches, brainstorming.

Participation Fee: The participation fee is EUR 1,600.00 (VAT-free, excl. travel and accommodation expenses), -10% Reduction for TU Wien Graduates

Requirement for participation: Experience in project management, or successful participation in compact program Project Management. Please register via our online form. A short individual consultation with the program manager is also a necessity for participation.

The seminar aims at project managers who already have experience in project management. Basic knowledge of project management is a prerequisite for participation. The target group are specialists who want to expand and professionalize their know-how.

If you lack practical experience, successful participation in our compact program “Project Management” is a prerequisite for the course “Current and Emerging Trends in Project Management”.

Dr. Dagmar Silvius-Zuchi - Gründerin und Managerin enable2change

Dagmar Silvius-Zuchi

Dagmar Silvius-Zuchi is an experienced consultant and trainer in process management, project and program management, as well as change management, with a solid understanding of various PM standards. Students benefit from her many years of experience in consulting and management, as well as her involvement in the development of international ISO project management standards.

Dr. A.J.Gilbert Silvius MSc MBA

Gilbert Silvius

Dr. A.J.Gilbert Silvius MSc MBA is considered one of the leading experts in the field of sustainability in project management. Gilbert is professor of project and programme management at LOI University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, and was awarded the 2013 Sustainability Award by the International Green Project Management Organization.

Mag. Katharina Radlinger-Köhler, MBA

Katharina Radlinger-Köhler is a project manager at the Austrian Federal Computing Centre (BRZ). She has over 15 years' experience in leading complex projects and programmes. As an active member of PMA – Project Management Austria, she led the PMA Young Crew in Austria in 2015 and 2016. She is a certified IPMA® Level C Certified Project Manager and SCRUM Master.
BRZ is Austria’s competence centre for the digitalisation of the public sector. As the e-government partner of the Austrian administration, it develops and operates modern IT solutions and runs one of the country’s largest data centres.

Dipl.-Ing. Barbara Keck, MSc. MSc.

Barbara Keck is a Principal Technical Consultant for Artificial Intelligence at the Austrian Federal Computing Centre (BRZ). With an academic background in technical mathematics, innovation and technology management, and business engineering, she combines technological expertise with strategic organisational development. In her role, she is responsible for introducing and ensuring the appropriate use of AI solutions in public administration, while also supporting transformation initiatives at the intersection of technology, people, and organisation. She focuses particularly on the successful implementation of AI-related projects through effective communication, change management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Mag. Johannes Buchberger, cSPM

Johannes Buchberger holds a degree in business administration from Johannes Kepler University Linz and a Business Leadership Diploma from INSEAD. In addition, he has been an IPMA® certified Senior Project Manager since 2002 and was already a pma assessor in 2003. Since May 2019 he has been Account Executive at Microsoft Austria, responsible for customers in the Central Government segment. Prior to this, he was a member of the management board of Unisys Austria, where he was responsible for the Public Sector division for Austria and Germany. Since 2009 he has been a member of the pma Management Board with the pma Advisory Board as a special area of responsibility.
