WF_Radfahren_2
Update and expansion of the short study "Cycling as an economic factor" from 2009
The study „Wirtschaftsfaktor Radfahren, opens an external URL in a new window“ (Cycling as an Economic Factor), which dates back to 2009, provides insightful information on the employment and value-added effects emanating from cycling. However, new trends have changed the situation since the last study, such as the increasing online trade, the e-bike boom, but also the increase in cycling caused by the Corona crisis, which resulted in a regionally very different, but overall definitely observable expansion of the cycling infrastructure.
The aim is therefore to gain new insights by updating the study.
