New from Autumn 2025: MBA without a Bachelor’s Degree

You have professional experience but no university degree? Starting in autumn 2025, our MBA programs will be open to applicants without a previous academic degree.

TU Wien Academy now enables you to enter directly into the full MBA program (120 ECTS) – including an integrated foundation curriculum (30 ECTS), which can even be completed partly online and on demand if needed.

Our new offer is specifically designed for experienced professionals who have strong practical knowledge and are ready to take the next step in their career – but have not yet completed a traditional degree. You benefit from an academically recognized qualification that makes your competencies visible and opens up new career opportunities.

What does the foundation curriculum cover?
The foundation curriculum (30 ECTS) gives you all the essential basics you need for a successful start and completion of your MBA – even without previous academic training. The following modules prepare you specifically for the core MBA content:

Fundamentals of Accounting (6 ECTS)

Gain in-depth knowledge of accounting, cost accounting, and controlling. This forms the foundation for sound business decisions – from analyzing balance sheets to managing key figures.

Sustainable and Digital Business (6 ECTS)

Learn how sustainability and digitalization are changing organizations. Topics include the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and business intelligence for data-driven business models.

Project Management & Organization (6 ECTS)

This module offers practical skills for planning and managing projects professionally. Get to know different types of organizational structures and cultures, and learn how to successfully deliver projects in various contexts.

Transfer Project (6 ECTS)

Apply your new knowledge directly in practice. By working on a real or simulated project, you use scientific methods and reflect on the transfer from theory to practice – a valuable experience for your personal development.

Fundamentals of Academic Work (6 ECTS)
