The event started with the ceremonial entry of the graduates and guests of honor. Course director Ao.Univ.Prof. Arch. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Martens opened the ceremony with warm words and paid tribute to the commitment and achievements of the graduates.
Dipl.-Ing. Nadja Pröwer, Head of Project Management and ESG at CBRE Austria, gave the keynote speech. In her speech, she emphasized the relevance of sound training in the real estate industry, especially in times of crisis, which pose new challenges for the real estate industry.
Another highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the BZP Award. This prize, donated by Guido Zorn, MSc, partner at Bischof - Zorn + Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH in cooperation with KB Steuerberatung - together “Die Wirtschaftskanzlei”, was awarded to an outstanding master's thesis dealing with legal issues in the real estate sector. This year, Mr. Sebastian Pfisterer, MSc received the prize for his master's thesis on “The main residence exemption in real estate tax law - challenges and difficulties in the practical application of the most important tax exemption in real estate income tax”.
As part of the graduation ceremony, Prof. Martens presented the academic certificates to the graduates.
