Online Expert Talk: 24 steps to a successful Start Up - MIT Disciplined Entrepreneurship
Presentation
Entrepreneurship for Corporates:
24 Steps to a Successful Startup – The MIT Disciplined Entrepreneurship Framework
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ranks among the best universities in the world. While known for its academic excellence, affiliated with more than 100 Nobel Prize Laureates, the MIT has also a world-renowned reputation in entrepreneurship. It is widely considered one of the top institutions globally for fostering startup culture and innovation. Some of the most well-known companies founded by MIT alumni, faculty, or researchers include Dropbox, iRobot, Biogen, and Moderna.
One key to this track record is the Disciplined Entrepreneurship Framework, a structured, step-by-step approach developed at MIT (by Bill Aulet) for turning business ideas or technologies into viable, scalable ventures. Being widely adopted around the world and used by numerous startup and corporate-innovation initiatives, it argues that entrepreneurship is a skill that can be taught, learned, and systematically applied.
During this expert talk, Dr. Arne Keller from the TU Wien, responsible for the Executive Short Course "Corporate Entrepreneurship", will provide an overview of the framework and the 24 Steps to a successful startup, illustrated by many practical examples.
