Pia Nabielek has authored books, articles and reports since 2005. Her most recent research work focuses on the ways in which planning practice deals with the energy transition. She obtained her doctoral degree in spatial planning at TU Wien and was employed as a researcher and lecturer at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Her doctoral thesis received the ´Award of Excellence´ from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. Pia Nabielek currently works as a scientific employee at the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency in The Hague.
