Alongside their teaching responsibilities our staff and students work on narrowly defined research projects, which are often externally funded. Our work is often collaborative, and we frequently host international guests or travel to share our findings with colleagues worldwide. Advances are initially recorded as research reports, which become the basis for future publications.

National and international research collaboration has always been an important part of the philosophy of the institute. Researcher and students exchange programs with different universities, lectures held abroad and international guests ahcieve not only research results, but equally promote a strong network and lasting friendships.
