Information on the study programs

Bachelor's Program: orientation phase

Preceding the start of the official admission, an orientation phase consisting of an online-self-assessment, EChemTest and a counselling interview has to be conducted.

The online-self-assessment, opens an external URL in a new window is intended as vocational orientation, it is available in German only.

The EChemTest is available during the registration period and can be conducted on the Campus Getreidemarkt. The EChemTest asks basic knowledge in chemistry, so students can evaluate their prior education.

During the counselling interview, which is conducted with members of the faculty and a student representative, prospective students can ask questions concerning the workload of the program, occupational prospects and career options.

This compulsory process serves the purpose of vocational orientation, and is not an admission restriction.
