07.01.2026: A review of 2025...
Traditionally, the time at the end of a year is dedicated to wrapping. Usually it’s presents but in our case we also did a wrap-up of 2025. After taking over the responsibility of the Research Group of Mass Spectrometric Bio- and Polymer Analytics at Technische Universität Wien, Faculty of Technical Chemistry from Martina Marchetti-Deschmann at the start of October 2025 it is my pleasure to present you here the results of this process, actually wrapping-up the wrap-up… :-)
In 2025 our research group managed more than 40 contributions to journals, meetings and conferences, for instance posters and oral presentations at ANAKON 2025 - Leipzig - Germany, at Euroanalysis - Barcelona - Spain, at IMSIS conference III - UC Davis - CA - USA, or at the Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics - Zurich – Switzerland. Together with our colleagues from around the world we managed contributions in ACS Omega, in JMS, ABC, Organometallics or Advanced Science. There were awards granted to @Martina Marchetti-Deschmann and @Antonia Malissa, and @Samuele Zoratto actively participated at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting - Lindau - Germany. To conclude it was a very successful year 2025!

My thanks go to the whole team of our research group working very hard to make these results possible! Please also stay tuned for 2026, there is much more on the horizon in terms of reviews, special issues, papers, instrumental developments and extremely exciting research questions!
All the best for 2026!
