Short Description

In line with the current discussion regarding the recycling or conservation of resources in municipal wastewater treatment, innovative technologies and processes have been extensively studied at the TU Wien in recent years. Based on the results of this comprehensive research work and the integration of the individual technologies, an overall concept for a resource-saving and energy-sufficient wastewater treatment plant of the future is to be developed within the framework of the research project. The focus is not only on the process-oriented feasibility of the concept, but also on the ecological and economic dimension of the innovative development step.
