The goal of the project was to improve the settling properties of the biomass through the selective removal of excess sludge directly from the bioreactor.
To this end, excess sludge removal with different methods was studied in our pilot plant and in two large-scale municipal wastewatertreatment, opens an external URL in a new window plants.
