Dragana Damjanovic is Professor for Administrative Law at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Vienna. Previously, she held the professorship for Public Law at the TU Wien and worked in research and teaching at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna. She studied in Vienna and Berkeley and habilitated in 2015 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in the subjects of public law and European law. Her research focuses on public economic law as well as climate protection and environmental law. Her academic interests include issues of state control of markets, especially those of public services, for the purpose of shaping sustainable social structures.
