  • Access to the ILSB by public transport

    Transfer from the Railway Station WESTBAHNHOF

    Board a subway of line U3 in direction Simmering. At the station Volkstheater change to subway line U2, direction Karlsplatz and exit at station Museumsquartier or station Karlsplatz.

    Transfer from the Railway Station HAUPTBAHNHOF

    Board a subway of line U1 in direction Kagran. Get off at station Karlsplatz.

    Transfer from the AIRPORT (Vienna Airport, VIE)

    Transfer from the Vienna Airport is possible by shuttle bus, train or taxi.

    • Railjet service is provided from Vienna Airport to Vienna Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). Alternatively, local trains (Schnellbahn S7) and the City Airport Train link Vienna Airport to station Wien Mitte, from which subway line U4 (direction Hütteldorf) can be used to reach Karlsplatz.
    • Shuttle buses to Morzinplatz in the city center and to the train stations Hauptbahnhof and Westbahnhof depart Vienna Airport at half hour intervals.

  • Directions to the ILSB by car

    It is possible to use the paid parking garage (operator: WIPARK) on the TU campus “Getreidemarkt”.
