The block lecture "Systems and Components of Electromobility" by Otmar Bitsche will take place from January 16 to 17, 2004, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the seminar room BA10B (BA high-rise building), Getreidemarkt 9 (and not as originally planned from November 13 to 14).

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • provide information about the construction and design of HV systems for electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • use the knowledge acquired, to select the most suitable battery types for an application.
  • design a battery system for an electric or hybrid vehicle.
  • give an overview of the charging systems in use.
