Differential calorimeter

Differentialkalorimeter wird zur Bestimmung der während der Hydratation von zementgebundenen Werkstoffen freigesetzten Wärmemenge wird ein Differentialkalorimeter der Firma ToniCal eingesetzt.

Manufacturer: Toni Technik

Technical data / description:

- Models (2 pieces): ToniCAL 7338 (1-cell), ToniCAL Trio 7339 (3-cell).

- Control and recording of measured values with Toni Technik's own software (ToniCAL Software).

Applications: Determination of the reaction kinetics of cementitious materials.

- Water and the cementitious material to be tested are mixed in a test tube, which is located in a thermally insulated, closed test chamber. This chamber also contains a sample that has already been completely hydrogenated (= reference sample).

- The ambient temperature of the two samples is the same (= isothermal).

- The water is added by means of a syringe or a post-injection module. The latter enables the separate addition of further substances, e.g. an accelerator.

- During the experiment, the thermoelectric voltage is continuously recorded as a measure of the amount of heat released.
