TRANSFORMATION DES BESTANDES

The anthology Transformation des Bestandes (Transformation of Existing Buildings) brings together contributions from a wide range of disciplines in architecture and spatial planning that deal with the transformation of existing buildings. The diversity of theoretical, methodological and practical approaches shows how complex the requirements and solutions are in research, teaching and planning practice when focusing on existing buildings.
The volume provides a multidisciplinary contribution from the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning at TU Wien to the current paradigm shift and is aimed at scientists, teachers, students and practitioners who are concerned with sustainable transformation in planning and construction and want to contribute to an integrative understanding of spatial change.
