Univ.Prof. PhD Agathe Robisson

Info

Prof. Agathe Robisson (F) has 25 years of experience working on polymer and cement related projects, including 17 years as an engineer, principal scientist and program manager at Schlumberger Technology Corp.. Her expertise lies in the analysis of microstructure / properties relationships applied to cementitious composites and other binders, filled polymers/elastomers, and gels.

She pursues experimental characterization of both solids and fluids/soft matter, with a focus on mechanical methods, and is particularly interested in the development of heterogeneities in composition and the associated issues (such as gradients in particle content or moisture content). She is a PhD in Material Science from Mines ParisTech. She is an elected member of the Austrian National Committee for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and a member of Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI), and a member of the British Society of Rheology, the Austrian Society for Rheology, the International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM), and the European Mechanics Society (EUROMECH).
