The staff of the Research Department for Building Materials Science, Materials Technology and Fire Safety always strive to integrate master's or diploma theses into current research work. This results in the following advantages for you as a student:

• We are interested in your work progressing quickly and being completed soon.
• Since our work is almost entirely experimental, we spend time with you in the lab (questions can always be resolved promptly), and the supervisors are on site.
• If there are any waiting times between the experiments, the results can be put on paper right away. 

Currently the following master project are available:

• Low carbon concrete: Water demand of LC3 concrete

• Fresh cementitious slurries mechanical characterisation (rheology)

• Recycled aggregate UHPC

• Very-early age rheological properties of cement by ball sedimentation – Model system with Carbopol

• Low carbon concrete: LC3 concrete - Optimization of clay type and calcination temperature
