His research focuses on early-age shrinkage in cementitious materials, with particular emphasis on the rheology, hydration kinetics, and microstructural evolution that govern their performance. He is especially interested in understanding how rheological behavior interacts with hydration processes to influence shrinkage at early ages, with the broader aim of improving the durability and sustainability of cement-based systems.

He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (2022). Following his degree, he joined the Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, where his work centered on polymer–perovskite composites, focusing on enhancing their dielectric, optical, and transport properties. This interdisciplinary background informs his current research approach, bridging material physics with cementitious material science.
