Employment as Project Assistant / 30h, 4 years

Background
The Biochemistry Working Group at TU Wien focuses on using the metabolic capabilities of microorganisms to produce valuable biochemicals. We want to understand how filamentous fungi are able to produce industrially relevant amounts of organic acids and use this understanding to improve production processes.
Two doctoral positions are being advertised for a recently funded CD laboratory working on the sustainable production of citric acid using fungi at the Institute of Chemical, Environmental and Bioscience Engineering. TU Wien is seeking for highly motivated, ambitious PhD students with experience in biochemistry and microbiology.
